There will be a road and footpath closure due to a crane establishment for an installation project.
Affected Areas
When
- Start: Monday, 18 October 2021
- Finish: Monday,18 October 2021
- Times: 6:00am to 2:00pm
Schedule as per below:
- Establish exclusion zone 6am
- Crane establish on site from 6am
- Panel delivery from 7am and load to level 6.
- Crane demobilise approximately 12pm to 2pm.
Important Information:
- Access to the Australian Institute for Bioengineering Nanotechnology (75) building via Research Rd will be maintained while the crane is not in operation as per the attached Crane Establishment Exclusion Zone Map. This access will be restricted while the crane is in operation.
- These closures will not affect the entrance doors of these identified buildings and emergency access points.
- Café Nano located near AIBN (75) will also remain open and accessible.
- The end of trip facility to the bike shop between Centre for Advanced Imaging (57) and Gehrmann Laboratories (60) will have restricted access however can be entered via Research Rd.
- The end of the footpath situated near Oval 1 and Union College passing through buildings (75) and (57) will be closed for pedestrian access.
- Alternative route signage will be displayed closer to the date near the restricted areas ensuring staff and students can easily reach their destinations
