Disruption to AC for Fire/ HVAC testing

Please be advised, there will be a Disruption to the Air Conditioning in various UQ buildings  to allow Fire/HVAC interface testing.

  • Gas System may be affected.

When

  • Start: Monday 14 March
  • Finish: Friday 18 March
  • When: times vary between 7:00am to 2:00pm

Details

  • The Design of the Air Condition system is to stop during a fire alarm. Technicians will need to inspect the units to ensure they act as designed. The systems should only be off for a maximum of 0.5 hour during this time.
  • Fire doors may close during test.
  • The impact will be minimal. 
  • The system will return to normal after testing.
  • There will be no tones during tests.
