Please be advised that the previously notified start date of Saturday 2nd April 2022 for the bitumen resurfacing of the pathway directly adjacent the Industrial Centre (85) has been moved to commence on Monday 4th April 2022. This unforeseen schedule change is a result of labour shortage due to Contractor staff either sick or in isolation.
Traffic Management will be in place during the pathway works, pedestrians are requested to comply with traffic controllers directions on Monday 4th April 2022. Once complete, the resurfacing of the pathway will ensure a safe and even trafficable surface at the lower end of Hood Street, as builders works continue for the Multifunctional Green Space development.

Work details
- Once complete, the 1.5 metre wide bitumen pathway will extend from the eastern most corner of Cromwell College, and continue east adjacent the Industrial Centre (85), through to Services Road.
- Water filled barriers and flag bunting will be located in line with the existing gutter, to further provide a safe access pathway for pedestrian traffic.
- This safe access will be in place for the extent of the Multifunctional Green Space development works.
