Work details
- Tuesday 10/05/2022– shutdown of level 2 main air conditioning system
- Wednesday 11/05/2022 – shutdown of level 3 main air conditioning system
- Thursday 12/05/2022 – shutdown of level 4 main air conditioning system
- Friday 13/05/2022 shutdown of level 5 main air conditioning system
- Please note, the ducted air conditioning system may not be functional during the period of the scheduled works resulting in variation in the temperature within the particular building floor being worked on.
- Please note that split system air conditioners will not be affected by these works.
Project details
- UQ Foxtail- Connection to precinct wide chilled water system and controls upgrade
- The physical works are being completed in the on floors L2, L3, L4, L5 Mechanical Plant rooms, and in various areas across the whole floor on the respective days (refer work details below) for replacement of temperature sensors.
- This is an important upgrade to replace end of life equipment and secure reliable and more energy efficient cooling and heating to the building going forward.
