Heritage restoration works at Gatton

Please be advised, there will be some minor disruptions at Gatton campus due to ACM removal and heritage restoration works. These works are required under UQ’s heritage maintenance obligations.


  • Start: Wednesday, 1 June 2022
  • Finish: Wednesday, 13 July 2022
  • Times: 6:30am to 6:30pm (Monday to Saturday)

Affected Areas

  • Stallion Yards Stall 3 (8219),
  • Stallion Yards Stall 4 (8220),
  • Dwelling 26 (8402),
  • Dwelling 37 (8413),
  • Dwelling 38 (8411),
  • The Woolshed (8231) and
  • Farm Square (8216).  

    Work details

    • Removal of ACM and heritage restoration works to Stallion yards 3 & 4
    • Structural investigations to the Woolshed and Farm square.
    • Heavy duty tarp installation to Dwelling 26,37,38, the Woolshed and Farm square where applicable

    Project details

    • The works as detailed above are required under UQs heritage Maintenance obligations, the stallion yards will be isolated with fencing during the period of works which will be approx. 6-8 weeks.
