Please be advised, construction works for the UQ Lakes and Amphitheatre Renewal Project have been impacted by the recent rain. The below notification provides detail on upcoming works for the next 3 weeks. The Site location and impacts to pathways, roads and bicycle lanes remain the same as shown on the attached site map.
Affected Areas
- Pedestrian and cyclist pathways are closed for the entirety of the works. Refer attached map for alternative routes.
- Traffic control will be in place on Jocks Road to manage the increased volume of vehicle movements required over the next few weeks.
- The UQ community can expect a level of odour to become present as the lake is dewatered.
