Work details
Gardeners Compound
- Small excavator and bobcat works, noise will be kept to a minimum
- External concrete works to pathway, ramps, and garden pavement area (crazy pave)
- Install feature timber to seats and tables
- Complete installing dampalon sheeting to the sawtooth roof
- Demolition of existing kerb and channel, and reinstatement of new kerb and channel to the access lane and disabled carpark
- Continue planting to all gardens
- Continue external concrete works to pathway, ramps, and garden pavement area (crazy pave)
- Note there will be minimal deliveries to site which will reduce the amount of contractor vehicular traffic locally
Project details
- The old Fleet Compound will be replaced with an open landscaping area for UQ’s wider Multifunctional Green Space Project
