There will be drone flights on the St Lucia campus to capture images of the telecommunication equipment on the roof tops. This is necessary to produce updated lease plans of the roof areas.
Affected Areas
- Drone will fly around the below buildings:
- Chemistry (68)
- Building 69
- General Purpose South (78)
- Otto Hirschfield (81)
When
- Start: Sunday, 5 June 2022
- Finish: Sunday, 5 June 2022
- Times: between 8.00am to 5.00pm, depending on weather conditions
Work details
- Aerial imagery capture roof tops for buildings 69, 78, 81 and 68 at the University of Queensland, St Lucia.
- The images do not see beyond the windows, walls or screens in any way.
- Imagery is taken by a ground-controlled drone.
- Spotter will be at works zones during the flights and will ensure safe access to/from buildings and safety for people close to the works zones.
