Façade Replacement: Sir James Foots (47A), Axon (47) & Staff House Road

There will be disruption due to façade replacement works. A road closure to Staff House Road is require for removal of scaffold on Axon Building (47). Access to Sir James Foots (47A) and Axon Buildings (47) will be impeded due to exclusions zones. Further disruptions will continue to be communicated.These works are expected to be completed by the end of October.

Sir James Foots Fire Door access via Hawken Laneway – Closure during cladding installation

  • Closure of fire door – will be accessible in an emergency
  • Dates to be confirmed

Sir James Foots – College Road entrance closure

  • Closure of entrance/lobby for cladding installation
  • Closure of Don Nicklin laneway
  • Alternative access will be in place
  • Access will be maintained/useable in the event of an emergency and afterhours (reopen every day at 2:30pm)

Work details

The facade installation has been completed on the eastern elevation of the Axon building and the scaffold is to be dismantled.

To do so the road is required to be closed for the safety of all users.
