There will be an upgrade of the street lighting to the Long Pocket ring road at Long Pocket Campus to allow replacement of overhead street lights using an elevated working platform.

Work Details
- P&F Remote Sites will be operating an elevated working platform (EWP) on campus to replace multiple overhead street lights. During this time, all vehicle entry gates to Long Pocket Campus will be locked, and all internal roads will be closed to vehicles.
- Researchers needing access to essential locations such as plants or furnaces must park along Meiers Road and enter via pedestrian access gates. The gate near the Yellow-box building (1021B) is the recommended entry point.
- The site will remain accessible to emergency vehicles only while the EWP is in use. In the event of an emergency, UQ Security will coordinate with the working group to ensure timely vehicle access.
