From Monday 10 November to early 2026, areas of the UQ Sport Athletics Centre will be closed for scheduled refurbishment works.
The athletics track and outdoor training facilities will remain open to the community throughout this period.
Affected areas and details
- The grandstand, function and administration rooms, canteen, and accessible toilets will be closed for refurbishment (works will be completed in stages)
When
- Monday 10 November to early 2026
- Works will be carried out from 6am to 6pm, Monday to Friday (Saturday works as required)

- A temporary kiosk at the lower ground entry will be open for payments
- The toilets near Upbeat Café will remain available
