Facade Replacement Program | PACE (870) fortnightly lookahead

Some disruption to the Pharmacy Australia Centre of Excellence (PACE) Building 870 for the Façade Replacement Project will continue as the contractor progresses with the replacement of the non-compliant combustible cladding scope of work.  
These works will cause some intermittent noise and there will be some exclusion zones to footpaths, roads and work zones during these works, managed by the Contractor.

The cladding replacement on the PACE Building is expected to be complete by January 2024. Ongoing communications will be provided to give regular updates regarding upcoming works.

Site Operations / Site Establishment

  • Cyclist and pedestrian access is open and managed by traffic control for any closures or disruptions


Level 6 Glazing

  • Outdoor seating area remains closed.
  • Gantry structure to maintain access from cafe into lounge area.
  • Glass install – moderate, intermittent levels of noise during works.

9th to 16th October 2023

  • Level 6 balcony remains closed to staff, students and public until further notice.
  • Glazing frame & Glazing installation – high levels of noise during 5-8AM window. Outside of this time – moderate, intermittent levels of noise for remainder of day.

9th to 18th October 2023

Cornwall Street Main Entrance

  • Minor defect rectification works – moderate, intermittent levels of noise.

9th to 11th October 2023

Cornwall Street SW Blade Fin

     Complete – no further disruption expected for remainder of project.


Lecture Theatre

  • Complete – no further disruption expected for remainder of project.
