Construction Works: Sir Llew Edwards (14) & Duhig North (12)

There will be some disruption at Sir Llew Edwards building as per the Figure 1 mark-up below in relation to the cladding replacement project works.

Following a final inspection, a couple of minor defects have been identified which require rectification.

Affected areas

Duhig Laneway vehicular access
Level 6 Balconies, including Terrace Room Balcony
Exclusion zones at the corner of University Drive and Campbell Rd
Exclusion zones adjacent to Sir Llew Edwards building entrance
Footpath closure in June for pavement replacement works

Facade and Footpath Rectification

Finish: Thursday 6 July 2023
Times: 6:00am to 5:00pm

Work details

The Contractor will be returning to site to complete some defect rectification works for the Sir Llew Edwards Facade Replacement works.
This will involve disruption to footpaths and Duhig Laneway, as per the Figure 1 mark-up below.

These works will create some noise due to machinery beeping as well as some minor noise expected from cladding rectification.

A section of footpath adjacent to the Campbell Rd building front entrance will be closed for a period of time between the3rd and 5th July to replace the cracked footpath.
This will involve concrete cutting and vac truck on site which is expected to create some noise.
