There will be a disruption to the Pharmacy Australia Centre of Excellence (PACE) Building (870) for the Façade Replacement Project to commence. The contractor will be establishing site, delivering access equipment, amenities and their site compound. They will also be commencing demolition work to the lecture theatre and stage 1 of the external panel installation. Please refer to the images below. These works will cause some intermittent noise and there will be some exclusion zones to footpaths, roads and work zones during these works, managed by the Contractor. Site facilities will also be delivered from Cornwall Street and installed within the PACE Courtyard.
The cladding replacement on the PACE Building is expected to be complete by January 2024. Ongoing communications will be provided to give regular updates regarding upcoming works.
Site Establishment - Affected Areas
Cornwall Street Entrance to Courtyard & Courtyard
- Contractor will be commencing on site by delivering and installing site amenities and their site compound within the PACE courtyard.
- Traffic Management to Cornwall Street laneway for delivery of site amenities and site sheds.
- Delivery will commence throughout the morning to minimise disruption.
- Cyclist and pedestrian access open and managed by traffic control for any closures.

Lecture Theatre Mobilisation, Demolition & Stage 1 Installation Works - Affected Areas
- Contractor to mobilise to the area, install site signage and connect to site services
- Contractor to complete site measure via mobile scissor lift
- Demolition and Stage 1 panel installation works to commence on 29/05 via mobile scissor lift
- Noisy works expected during these works
- Exclusion zones surrounding works area will be in place
