Power Shutdown: Gatton Campus (North of the Highway)

Please be advised there will be a power shut down at the Gatton Campus in the area north of the highway to allow for electrical upgrade and maintenance works.

Affected areas

  • Horticulture Buildings and Greenhouses on John Howe Memorial Drive
  • Dwelling No. 26, 27, 28 and 29 on John Howie Memorial Drive
  • Sewerage Treatment Plant
  • Wind Tunnel and Agricultural Chemical Handling & Storage Facility on John Howie Memorial Drive
  • Farms offices adjacent to the Sewerage Treatment Plant (old CSIRO compound)

When

Session 1 – For a period of 1.5 hours

  • Start: Monday 21 August 2023
  • Finish: Monday 21 August 2023
  • Times: 10:00am – 12:00pm (For a period of 1.5hrs)

Session 2 – Whole day shutdown

  • Start: Friday 25 August 2023
  • Finish: Friday 25August 2023
  • Times: 7:00am – 5:00pm (Whole day shut down)

These shutdowns are required for the overhead HV replacement and realignment works which are currently underway.
