There will be periodic disruptions to the air conditioning serving level 4 to level 7 of South block in QBP to upgrade the BMS control systems.

Work details
The work will require the some of the Mechanical Equipment to be operated in manual mode while the controls are upgraded. These systems will be closely monitored during the cutover process.
Project details
The Building Management System serves an important role in the functioning of QBP, not just air conditioning control but in monitoring critical plant and equipment.
The BMS field controllers were installed in 2001 and have reached end of life. They are beginning to fail with spare parts no longer available. This upgrade will replace the old controls with new to keep the building functioning for another 20 years.
