As the works for the UQ Lake and Amphitheatre progresses, there will be some continued distruption. These works will cause some intermittent noise and there wll be some exclusion zones to footpaths, roads and works zones, which will be managed by the contractor.
The project is expected to be completed by mid-2024. We will continue to provide regular updates regarding upcoming scheduled works.

Work details
22 November – 8 December
- Bulk & detailed excavation to enable Built’s concreting works will take place over the next couple of weeks.
- It is expected that there will be an increase to vehicles using Jocks Road and some noisy works during this period.
- All deliveries to take place early morning between 5:30am and 7:30am on these dates.
- Works to take place within the Built site and Built site working hours - minimal impacts to adjacent buildings, footpaths and roads.
