Please be advised that a crane truck will be in operation on Saturday the 2nd of December 2023 to remove existing telecommunication equipment following recent modernisation to Network equipment.
Research Road will be affected during these works, traffic control, spotters and exclusion zones will be in place. (See crane lift overview below)

- Building 68
- Rooftop & Plant Rooms Level 12 & upwards.
- Front entrance crane lift (Saturday 2nd December)
- Contractor foot traffic through building.
When
- Start: Saturday, 2 December 2023
- Finish: Saturday, 2 December 2023
- Times: 6:30am to 10:00am
Project details
The following works are proposed.
- Removal of existing Vodafone and Optus equipment
- Replacement and reconfiguration of existing and new Vodafone antennas
- Installation of new auxiliary equipment
- Reconfiguration and installation of new and existing equipment within the existing equipment cabin
