There will be a disruption of electrical supply to the low voltage and 11kV supplies in Union, Schonell and central chiller precincts to allow for the installation of new 11kV switchgear at Sub 20 (Union).

Work details
Due to the complexity of isolation required with the Sub 20 RMU change over there will be some disruption to Union Precinct and central chiller electrical supply.
This disruption will also affect the central chilled water network for approximately 1 hour. Every effort will be made to ensure power disruptions are kept as short as possible.
Project details
The installation of new 11kV switchgear at Sub 20 will improve the safety of the electrical network as well as provide increased switching flexibility for future works.
