Please be advised there will be a road closure on University Drive for major community event RSPCA Million Paws Walk on Sunday 26 May, 1am to 6pm.
Affected areas
- University Drive (full road closure)
- Campbell Road and Sir William MacGregor Drive will remain open, however event participants will be crossing Campbell Road and Sir William MacGregor Drive at start of the event (approx.10:00am). Traffic flow will be impacted and delays should be expected.

- Times: 1am to 6pm
Additional details
- The PWD parking bays at the top of University Drive will still be accessible for Disability Permit holders, with exceptions to emergency services vehicles.
- The roads and carparks will be open as usual, by 6:00pm on Sunday 26 May 2024.
Event details
- This road closure is part of the RSPCA Million Paws Walk event on Sunday 26 May, at the Forgan Smith Front Lawn and University Drive.
- The event will run from 8:00am to 2:00pm.
- It is expected that there will be noise disruptions on the Forgan Smith Front Lawn during this time.
- The event organisers have been asked to adhere to UQ and BCC noise regulations for the duration of the event.
