Facade Replacement Works: 74 High St Toowong (490)

There will be disruption to 74 High Street Toowong (Building 0490) for the Facade Replacement Program to commence. The contractor will be establishing site and commencing works as detailed below. These works will cause some intermittent noise and there will be some exclusion zones to footpaths and work zones managed by the contractor.

The cladding replacement works are expected to be complete by December 2023. Ongoing communications will be provided to give regular updates regarding upcoming works.

Site Establishment (see below images)

  • Contractor will be establishing their site office within the ground floor of the building and obtaining 4 carparks within the underground parking area for the entirety of the works
  • Contractor to install constructing fencing to the external courtyard for their laydown area. This will remain closed to Building Occupants for the entirety of the works
  • Erection of scaffolding / gantry to the High Street Building Facade and over the shared driveway to commence 12/06 out of hours
  • Noisy works expected during these works
  • Exclusion zones surrounding works area will be in place
  • Cyclist and pedestrian access open and managed by traffic control for any closures

Works Duration

  • Start: Friday 2 June 2023
  • Finish: Friday 16 June 2023

Removal of sunshades to High Street elevation (see below images)

  • Contractor to commence sunshade removal to the building façade out of hours
  • Noisy works expected during these works
  • Exclusion zones surrounding works area will be in place
  • Cyclist and pedestrian access open and managed by traffic control for any closures

Works Duration

  • Start: Monday 12 June 2023
  • Finish: Saturday 17 June 2023
