Please be advised there will be mechanical services works to UQ Union Complex, building 21B as part of a replacement of a Chiller (Air Conditioning Plant)
This is an important replacement to ensure reliable cooling is restored to the Union Complex
Affected areas
- UQ Union Buildings 21B & 21C
- Portion of the loading dock will be cordoned off to permit safe crane lift (afternoon Wednesday 28th only)
When
- Start: Wednesday, 28 June 2023
- Finish: Tuesday, 4 July 2023
- Times: 6:00am to 4:30pm
Work details
The existing chillers will be lifted from the rooftop plant deck by crane and replacement chiller will be lifted into place Wednesday 28th June.
Installation and commissioning of the replacement chiller will occur from Thursday 29th to Tuesday.
