Facade Replacement Works: Physiology Lecture Theatres (63) scaffold build

The Physiology Lecture Theatres (63) forms part of the UQ Façade Replacement Program. As part of these works the cladding on the Physiology building will be replaced.

This notification provides a lookahead for the upcoming works and important changes to access to and around the building during this time.

Works at Physiology Lecture Theatres building are expected to run from October 2023 to August 2024.

Site Compound

  • Site compound will be set up in Mansfield Place car parking area. This will impact available parking spots.
  • Materials movements from the site compound / delivery area will be undertaken with forklift and spotter to the works exclusion zones.

6am to 5pm

30/10/23 – 3/11/23

Northern Entry

  • Scaffold Build
    • North Entry door to lecture theatre will be closed during scaffold build for safety of users. Alternate access via Southern Entry with Ramp.
    • Exclusion Zones around works areas for safety of users may impact usual pedestrian pathways. Refer Figure 1.
    • Noisy Works expected during scaffold build.

6am to 5pm

30/10/23 – 1/11/23

Southern Entry

  • Scaffold Build
    • South Entry door to lecture theatres will be closed during scaffold build for safety of users. Alternate access via North Entry / Lift.
    • Exclusion Zones around works areas for safety of users may impact usual pedestrian pathways. Refer Figure 2.
    • Noisy Works expected during scaffold build.

6am to 5pm
