*Please note, paper permits are no longer valid at the University of Queensland all sites.

Permits are required to park in many areas on UQ campuses and sites.

Please be advised the pre-paid, part-time and off-peak permits were only available until 31 March 2020. Changes to parking permits are currently under review and awaiting approval from the VC, after which time, the changes will be communicated to all affected staff.

Select the relevant permit type below to check whether you’re eligible for it and how much it costs. Many permits are for staff only, but some permits are available to students and visitors. Some permit types are only used at certain campuses.

To see the location of parking zones where permits are required, check the UQ parking maps. Permit parking zones are marked by signs on campus.

Motorcycles and scooters must park in designated motorcycle areas at all times.

You are responsible for making sure the vehicle you are driving to campus is active on your permit. Log into vPermit online or through the app to change your active vehicle.
