Facade Replacement Works: PACE (870) fortnightly lookahead

Some disruption to the Pharmacy Australia Centre for Excellence (870) for the Façade Replacement Project will continue as the contractor progresses with the replacement of the non-compliant combustible cladding scope of work.  These works will cause some intermittent noise and there will be some exclusion zones to footpaths, roads and work zones during these works, managed by the Contractor.

The cladding replacement on the PACE Building is expected to be complete by January 2024. Ongoing communications will be provided to give regular updates regarding upcoming works.

  • Cyclist and pedestrian access is open and managed by traffic control for any closures or disruptions

Ongoing

Lecture Theatre

  • Northern, Southern and Western elevations - cladding installation 95% complete.
  • These final works will be carried out outside of Lecture Theatres hours of use using mobile scissor lift.

       31st July to 12th August

  • No noisy works expected during these remaining works
  • Exclusion zones surrounding works area will be in place

Level 6 Glazing

  • Scaffold installation to continue in café outdoor seating area until 4th August.
  • Outdoor seating area remains closed.
  • Gantry structure to maintain access into lounge area.

31st July – 12th August

  • Level 6 balcony remains closed to staff, students and public until further notice.

      31st July – 12th August

Cornwall Street Main Entrance

  • Scaffold install to Cornwall St Main entrance to enable cladding removal works.

      From 3rd August
