Buses are available for charter through Belbaker, UQ’s bus service provider.

Buses vary in size from 71-seat coaches to 13-seat shuttle buses. Go to the Belbaker website for a full list of vehicles and their features.

How to make a booking

Before you book a charter bus through Belbaker, you have to request a quote through the Belbaker website.

UQ has an approved pricing structure in place with Belbaker.

When you request a quote, Belbaker will send an email confirmation and then a quote within 24 hours.

After you've completed your online booking, Belbaker will send you a booking confirmation with Fleet Services copied in.

Changing a booking

Email Belbaker if you want to make any changes to your booking: admin@belbaker.com.au

If there are any changes to fees and charges because of changes to your booking, Belbaker will contact you and Fleet Services.

Fleet Services will advise you if you need to complete another PF702 Booking Confirmation form (RTF, 344KB).

Cancelling a booking

If you need to cancel a booking, you have to advise both Belbaker and Fleet Services at least two business days before the booking date. Email:

If you cancel a booking with less than 24 hours’ notice, you may have to pay a cancellation fee.


Fleet Services receives a single monthly invoice from Belbaker. After paying the invoice, Fleet Services then recoups charges from the relevant department’s nominated account.

Terms and conditions

Terms and conditions apply:

  • No food or drinks apart from water can be consumed on coaches.
  • Buses are fitted with seat belts. All passengers must fasten their seat belt when travelling.
  • Coaches are presented clean. Care should be taken to avoid soiling coaches with muddy footwear. Cleaning costs may be passed on to the hirer.
  • Please advise Belbaker if you need to stow goods, equipment or soiled footwear in luggage compartments.
