Parking at Dutton Park
Free parking at UQ locations in January 2026
In preparation for parking changes in 2026, parking at all UQ sites will be free throughout January. This includes casual (hourly) parking and permit parking.
The CelloPark app and vPermit website will be turned off on 24 December 2025.
We'll provide instructions in January for how to download our new parking app, PayStay, or apply for a permit.
Parking is available at our Dutton Park campus for students, staff and visitors.
You must pay to park at Dutton Park unless you are visiting a clinic and have your ticket validated by clinic reception. Parking options include hourly and capped daily rates, and permit parking.
Look for the signs to check the zone and which rates and conditions apply.

Green zone
- Permit parking
- Restricted to staff and others with a permit.
Casual parking zone
- Level 2, PACE Building
- Hourly rates capped at a daily maximum.
Who can use it
- Visitors and clinic clients (excluding motorcycles).
Clinic clients: Clinic reception will validate your ticket for free parking if you are a clinic client.
UQ Spoto Bays
- Hourly rates capped at a daily maximum.
Who can use it
- UQ staff, UQ students, visitors and clinic clients (excluding motorcycles).
UQ Spoto bays can be booked through:
- uq.spoto.com
- The UQ Spoto App (available on iOS and Android)
Orange zone
- Motorcycle parking only.
Who can use it
- Students, staff and visitors parking a motorcycle.
Persons With Disability (PWD)
You must clearly display the permit so the permit number and expiry date are visible from outside the vehicle. Find out more about accessible parking.
Who can use it
- Anyone displaying an Australian or red disability parking permit.
Locations
- PWD bays are located on each level of the Dutton Park (PACE) carpark near the lifts. You can validate your ticket for free parking with the clinic reception.

UQ fleet vehicles
UQ fleet vehicles can park in any zone, but must follow any other relevant parking rules.
