Security patrols

UQ's Security Patrol Service keeps UQ students, staff, visitors and facilities safe on campus 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

Security personnel are always identifiable from their ID cards and uniform:

• white collared shirt with security patches
• navy pants or skirt
• navy hat.

They patrol UQ's campuses and sites to:

• help students, staff and visitors with security issues
• make sure facilities are only used by UQ students, staff and other authorised people
• lock external building doors
• provide a visible security presence.

You can help keep UQ safe by reporting suspicious behaviour to Security, no matter how minor, and can contact Security at any time.
